Nikwia Wodoe Hospital Project
The Nikwia Wodoe organization is committed to transforming healthcare in our region through the construction of a modern hospital in Frolay Town, Ninkwia Clan, Buu-Yao District, Nimba County, Liberia, West Africa. This hospital, designed with 100 beds and supporting facilities, will serve not only the people of Nikwia Chiefdom but also neighboring communities in Nimba County and across the border in Côte d’Ivoire.
We are pleased to announce that the project has now reached the plastering and furnishing stage—a significant milestone that brings us ever closer to opening the doors of this facility.
The completion of this hospital will provide life-changing benefits to our community. It will:
Ensure accessible and reliable healthcare services for thousands of people in rural and underserved areas.
Reduce the burden on families who currently travel long distances for medical care.
Provide specialized treatment for mothers, children, and vulnerable groups.
Promote healthier communities and contribute to overall socio-economic development.
This vision has been made possible through the unwavering support of the membership of Nikwia Wodoe and, most especially, the extraordinary generosity of Mr. James Noutoua Wantee, the chief financier of this project. His commitment, alongside the collective contributions of our members, has been instrumental in moving this project to its current stage.
We extend our deepest gratitude to all who continue to stand with us. Together, we are not just building a hospital—we are building hope, health, and a brighter future for generations to come.
